If you’re planning to serve white wine there are some details to keep in mind. Place the bottles in the refrigerator at least three hours before serving. At the table, keep your wine cool in a bucket half-filled with ice and water, without forgetting to place a clean towel nearby to help guests serve themselves. Have some extra glasses ready, in case your guests want to try a different wine. If the weather is particularly hot, then don't feel guilty about gently cooling red wines as well.
