We recently brought you the video of the band who engraved one of their songs on a vinyl shaped block of ice. As bad as the finished sound quality was we loved the idea.
The latest musical crossover to catch our attention is this bottle design from the beer company Becks. They have managed to engrave a bottle with the grooves of a song using a similar method to that employed by Thomas Edison with his cylindrical tube playing phonograph.
Using a whole list of modern day technology the team behind the idea have managed to create a good quality audio recording directly from a bottle.
Take a look for yourself.
