The picture above is actually a real invention created by the Japanese burger chain Freshness Burger.
Called the Liberation Wrapper it was designed after the company found out that their female clientele were unlikely to order their biggest burgers because of the problem of women not wanting to open their mouths wide to eat their burger.
Theirs actually a word in Japanese for people who have small and modest sized mouths called Ochobo and the company say that since the launch of the Liberation Wrapper orders for their largest burger among females have gone up by over 200%.
Rather than just being faux-meat, Mamu is different. It's a mushroom-based meat alternative that's getting its launch in restaurants so that chefs can test its versatility. Flora Tsapovsky investigates.
