Singapore Sling Cocktail: The Classic Recipe
Invented in Raffles Hotel, Singapore, in 1915, the Singapore Sling is a classic cocktail that is always popular. Here are all the steps to prepare it.

Created in 1915 at the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel, Singapore, by the barman Ngiam Tong Boon, the Singapore Sling is a gin-based cocktail that can definitely be called a classic. A splash of Angostura bitters is the final touch of the Singapore Sling, a drink that's fresh and light on the palate.
Step 01
In the glass, add 3 cl of gin, 1.5 cl of Heering Cherry Liqueur, 0.25 oz of triple sec, 0.25oz of benedictine, 0.33 oz of grenadine, 0.5 oz of lime juice, 4 oz of pineapple juice and a splash of Angostura.
Step 02
Pour the contents into a shaker full of ice and shake vigorously.
Step 03
Strain the drink into a glass with ice.
Step 04
Garnish the Singapore Sling with a slice of pineapple and a maraschino cherry or a sprig of mint.
