The Michelin restauants for New York have been announced and with the 2015 Michelin guide for New York comes three new two-starred restaurants. The Aquavit restaurant (pictured above) which serves Scandinavian cuisine and two Japanese inspired restaurants, Blanca and Ichimura.
While the world reacts to Daniel dropping from three to two-stars, we decided to take a quick look at some of the dishes created in the new two-star Michelin restaurants of New York.
First up is Aquavit - a Park Avenue restaurant that aims to offer ‘exquisite seasonal Nordic cuisine.”
Glassblower Herring
Strawberry and Meringue, lemon cake, white chocolate, thyme sorbet and elderflower.
Second is Blanca - funky kitchen table style dining, 12 seats only, that serves an interesting mix of Italian and Japanese inspired cuisine. Pics by The Spanish Hipster and you can see the full collection here.
