In the beginning, there were cookbooks allowing the masses into their favourite chef kitchens even allowing them to cook along with branded cooking kit. These days chefs are moving with the times and enjoying a bigger slice of e-commerce.

1. Carlo Cracco
This week the well known Italian chef Carlo Cracco inaugurated his online shop, growing his food empire outside of his Milan home.Â
He's going big on valentines day, with heart-shaped pastries chocolates, biscuits and cakes, with more easter baked goods soon to follow. On the savoury side he's got capers and oregano from Pantelleria in Sicily, olives in natural brine, extra virgin olive oil, passata and a selection of herbal teas and bitters.
Cracco will be available online on Amazon for 6 months before reverting back to sales through his own site.
2. Alain Ducasse
Legendary French chef, Alain Ducasse, applies the same meticulous care he takes with his cooking and ingredient sourcing to chocolate and coffee. The connoisseur offers the artisanal chocolate and single-origin coffee sold in his shops in both Paris and London, also online.

3. Albert Adria
Albert Adria has been putting the fun into dining in Spain and the UK ever since the shuttering of groundbreaking elBulli restaurant, run with his brother Ferran. At La Cala Albert AdriaÌ€ has launched an online company specializing in products to accompany aperitifs, from crispy pork to olives and tinned seafood.Â
4. Tom Kerridge
British chef, Tom Kerridge, holds two Michelin stars The Hand and Flowers pub in Marlow, in the South East of the UK, the only pub in the UK to do so. He's well known for kicking out high-end comfort food full of flavour. Now his fans get to dip their chips into his secret sauces and pump up the umami at home with his newly released sauces, from Chipotle Barbecue to black garlic, and gherkin Ketchup, take your pick!
5. Jordi Roca
Jordi Roca of El Celler de Can Roca fame revolutionised dessert time and made it his own, both inside and outside the three Michelin star restaurant run with his brothers in Girona. Their Rocambolesc ice cream shop selling affordable ice-cream and other creative desserts with a hint of childhood magic is a testament to that fun-loving nature. 6. David Chang

Italian seafood chef Moreno Cedroni, reworks the Adriatic in his gourmet cuisine, including some interesting dishes that can all be purchased online.
