Here's how to prepare banoffee pie according to the classic recipe.

To prepare the banoffee pie, start by preparing the toffee cream starting with the condensed milk. Put the entire unopened can of condensed milk in a saucepan and cover with water. Let it simmer for about 2 hours, making sure that there is always water in the pot.

Remove the can from the water and let it cool. You will thus obtain your toffee cream.

Chop the biscuits and place them in a bowl with the melted butter. Mix the two ingredients well.
