More details have been released about Noma Australia as Rene Redzepi gets set to take his whole team Down Under to open a 10 week popup in Sydney from January 26th to April 2nd.
In a release today, the Noma team announced details of bookings and just how you can get yourself a seat at what will be one of the toughest reservations of 2016.
Bookings will open on October 30th at 10am AEDT with a dedicated page for those who want to dine at Noma Australia. They say they will make all the tickets available at once, rather than staggered, something they say will allow a more “transparent way of accessing a reservation to all potential diners.”
Tickets to dine at Noma in Sydney will cost AUD $485 per person (plus 1.65% CC fee) - there will be an all-Australian beverage pairing or non-alcoholic pairing and a small wine list.
Rene and his team have so far had six separate research trip to Australia with the chef’s social feed packed with interesting ingredient finds like green ants, mud clams and mangoes that he says taste like freshly churned sorbet.
Noma Japan sold out rapidly and was one of the most exciting dining experiences of this year, expect Noma in Australia to be the same.
