Check out this great hotel design from the architect Ma Yansong who is part of the MAD architects.
At over 100 meters high and over 100 meters wide the Sheraton Hushou Hot Spring resort is creates and iconic shape that seems to emerge directly from the Taihu lake in Huzhou China.
The building is created using layered floors which when placed together create a horse shoe shape. Because of the design each room in the hotel features a perfect view of the lake.
There are three restaurants in the hotel - one for classic Chinese food, one for classic Japanese food and one restaurant that serves a mix of cuisines throughout the day.
The hotel, which costs $1.5 billion, is part of Sheraton's aggressive expansion throughout Asia.
