Fine food aficionados are in for an exquisite dining experience on 22 November when four chefs prepare a unique six-course dinner in a one of a kind evening at the Horizon Grill in Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur.
Diners will be feted to the exciting gastronomic treat resulting in the collaboration between Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur and S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna when two highly-celebrated chefs from two of Singapore’s most acclaimed restaurants, join forces with two resident chefs at Horizon Grill.
Chef Tamara Chavez, Head Chef at Tono Cevicheria, the pioneering authentic Peruvian Cevicheria in Singapore; and Chef Kurt Sombero, Head Chef of Meatsmith Little India, Singapore’s first restaurant combining the tastes of India with fixed roots in American Barbeque will collaborate with two of chefs from Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur, Chef de Cuisine of Horizon Grill, Chef Daniel Wong and Pastry Chef, Chef Fodil Baghal.
Guests will be able to experience a selection of the chefs' signature dishes like Chef Kurt’s “Ikura Papadum” and his unique rendition of Smoked Beef Rib and chef Daniel’s “Risotto Goreng” featuring Kaluga caviar, fried soft boiled egg, pickled lettuce, Madras curry and fermented spicy red beans.
Plus a special dessert from Chef Fodil with his creation, “Summer”, caramelised figs drizzled with thyme caramel sauce, and plated with salted caramel ice cream.
