San Sebastian Gastronomika 2014 Coming Soon: Focus on Italy

The city of San Sebastian in Spain, famous for having the most Michelin stars per capita, is gearing up for its annual food extravaganza known as San Sebastian Gastronomika 2014. The 16th edition of the massive festival will kick off October 5th and run until October 8th. This year's theme is Italy: North vs. South and will feature dozens of Italian chefs showing off their regional cuisine and delicacies like burrata, mozzarella, mortadella, wine and other gourmet products made in Italy.

Chefs from all over the world will be in attendance hosting workshops, delivering speeches and preparing meals. Participating speakers include Virgilio Martinez, Massimo Bottura, Joan Roca, Andoni Luis Aduriz, Matías Perdomo, Gennaro Esposito, father-daughter duo Juan Mari and Elena Arzak, Carlo Cracco, Jordi Roca, Moreno Cedroni, Eneko Atxa and Quique Dacosta.
