From 16 to 21 July, bartenders and drinks enthusiasts will have a week long opportunity to immerse themselves in the cocktail scene learning what's new and what's hot on the circuit with a packed programme of summits, seminars, tastings and classes on this year's theme of "cultivate."
New for this year is official "cocktail competition" featuring The Highball having been voted the most popular drink out of five contenders.
On the agenda is a huge spectrum of classes with ample learning opportunities from the terroir of cane spirits to mental health. And, with a "tasting room" wrist band, guests are entitled to some hands on research sampling a huge cross section of sprits while learning more about them from their producers at individual stands.
The prestigious "Spirited Awards" - celebrating excellence in the cocktail industry; honoring the best professionals, bars, brands, and publications around the world will also be announced on 20 July. This year includes three new categories; American Classic (establishment), International Classic (establishment) and a global Philanthropy Award (individual or establishment).
