The countdown is on to the 20th anniversary of the World Gourmet Summit, the haute cuisine food event that will have connoisseurs flocking to Singapore's shores from March 28th to April 24th 2016.
One of South East Asia's most prestigious wining and dining events, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, visitors can expect a fine spread of gastronomic experiences for an entire month, from special themed dinners to wine and culinary workshops.
Visitors will have the chance to sample special menus at some of Singapore's most well known restaurants including Bacchanalia Singapore, Hua Ting Restaurant, Gattopardo Ristorante Di Mare, Majestic Restaurant and Tippling Club as well as witness unique collaborations between Singaporean chefs and other culinary icons from around the world.
At least two events are slated to take place daily, here are just a few highlights:
- St.Moritz Champagne Topless Club at Stellar at 1-Altitude, featuring Reto Mathis and Chris Millar, featuring truffles and caviar.
- Open Farm Community's six-course wine dinner titled From the Ground in the Pan, on the Plate with wine pairings.
- Two specialist days of 20 Top International chefs with workshops and talks in celebration of the 20th Anniversary.
- Four hands dinner with S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2015 winner Mark Moriarty and Kirk Westaway at Jaan (#29 in Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2016)
