Alba White Truffle Benefit Dinner

On Sunday, 8 November 2020, Art presents the Alba White Truffle Benefit Dinner, an exclusive dinner experience featuring fine Italian gastronomy and wines, and a white truffle auction on the rooftop of National Gallery Singapore, all in the name of charity.

Michelin-starred chef-owner Beppe De Vito and chef Daniele Sperindio will be preparing an innovative degustation menu for the occasion, celebrating this prized tuber. Each of the five courses will showcase pure Alba white truffle creativity, with dishes like Aged Celeriac, Jerusalem Artichoke Cream, Black Onion Caviar, White Truffle, Art’s signature 32 Egg Yolk Tagliolini, Alpine Butter, Porcini, White Truffle and Kagoshima Beef, Charred Endive, Koshō Bernese, White Truffle.

The dinner will also be paired with wines from the most representative Piemontese winemakers, like Barolo Bussia Vigna Colonnello 2008 and Barbaresco Bric Turot 1999 from Prunotto, and Bruno Rocca’s Barbaresco Riserva Currà 2012.

If that wasn't enough, during the dinner, guests will also have the opportunity to compete for two carefully selected Alba white truffles, combined with rare magnums of top Italian wines, as well as the top lot of Alba white truffle at the auction held simultaneously at the Castle of Grinzane Cavour, in the home of white truffles in Piedmont. The auction includes Singapore, Italy, Hong Kong and Moscow.

All proceeds from the dinner and auction, including the international bid item, will go to the local beneficiary Foodsteps by World Food Future, a free nutrition education program in Singapore for children aged 7 to 12 years old from low-income families.
