2012 New York Wine & Food Festival

The Big Apple is definitely the place to be this fall. New York City is playing host to handful of exciting food adventures, from Alinea and EMP's swap to Le Grand Fooding and the Identita NY Fest, just to name a few.

Now the city is gearing up to host the 5th annual Wine & Food Festival from October 11th-14th. The event, which is sponsored by S. Pellegrino, will feature some of New York's finest  chefs like Mario Batali and April Bloomfiled along with a host of other celebrity chefs and food personalities.

Among the Food Network stars attending the event are Alton Brown, Paula Deen (in the picture above), Bobby Flay, Ted Allen, Sunny Anderson, Anne Burrell, Nate Appleman, Scott Conant and Melissa D'Arabian.

Highlights of the four-day food fest include Trucks & Train, a celebration of steet food and food trucks with a special performance by Grammy-winning band Train. The event will be hosted by Bizarre Food's Andrew Zimmern.
