El Celler de Can Roca is finally on the road! In case you've been wondering what The Roca Brothers have in store as part of their world tour, just feast your eyes on this video depicting the 17-course dinner they prepared in Houston.
The inaugural dinner of their Roca&Roll World Tour 2014, was an invite-only event held at the Museum of Fine Arts' Rienzi estate. Brothers Joan, Josep and Jordi Roca prepared an exquisite menu inspired by Tex-Mex flavors paired with Spanish wines.
The dinner featured stunning hors d'oeuvres served inside a paper basket (pictured above), exciting dishes like liquid tortilla, suckling pig with a crackling crust, desserts made with local milk and their signature Lemon Cloud perfume, the Houston Chronicle reports.
"Our intention is to find inspiration in the cuisine of the places we visit during our travels. Although we would like to get to know these places much better , it’s our impression that we try to translate into our menu and in our gastronomic offerings during this tour," Joan Roca said.
From Houston, the brothers headed to Dallas where they also wowed fans. The rest of their tour includes stops in Mexico, Colombia and Peru. Here's a look at the fabulous dishes from the Roca&Roll World Tour, which is sponsored by BBVA:
