The countdown is on to the big day for the young chefs competing in Italy and South-East Europe S.Pellegrino Young Chef regional final taking place in Milan on 21 October.
The ten finalists (here is the complete list) from across Italy, Romani, Slovenia and Croatia will be evaluated by an exceptional jury, composed of Pino Cuttaia, Matias Perdomo, Antonia Klugmann, Marianna Vitale, Janez Bratovž, Ana Grgić and Oana Coantă.
It will be those very chef judges tasked with the challenge of deciding the eventual chef winner who stands out for their unrivalled technical skills, creativity and belief in gastronomy.
The regional winner will then be nominated a chef mentor and prepare to compete with the finalists from the other 11 regions from around the world, during the Grand Finale scheduled for 2020.
At this regional level there are also three other prestigious awards up for grabs:
S.Pellegrino Award for Social Responsibility

Acqua Panna Award
