A ski cap made from cauliflower, a belt made from tagliatelle pasta, a watermelon motorcycle helmet, chocolate bon-bon cufflinks. And if the images themselves aren’t surprising enough, Fulvio Bonavia’s method of working is sure to leave fans of fashion, food and photography impressed.
As an ex-illustrator, Bonavia didn’t actually use photoshop for any of his “designer collection”, but instead created each piece by hand, snapped them in large-format film, and then, when necessary, went back and re-touched every shot manually.
A Matter of Taste includes text by chef, food expert, cookbook author and television presenter and broadcaster, Peta Mathias.
