Larte is not just a restaurant, it's more of a meeting point between food and wine, art, design and fashion. Its name (a play on the Italian word for art) represents the excellence of Italian culture. Larte will be housed in Milan's central Via Manzoni, in a building that was once the home of writer and poet Carlo Emilio Gadda.
Inspired by Altagamma - a foundation that brings together high-end Italian companies such as
S. Pellegrino, Alessi or Bellavista - Larte will be a restaurant, café, chocolate shop, osteria and an art gallery all at once. Every month, for a week, Larte will host a famous chef from a distinct Italian region. Using food as a medium, the chef will tell the story of their region. During these special events small-scale producers, breeders and artisans from the same terroir showcase their products.

But that's not all. Customers of Larte will be able to admire and possibly purchase the restaurant's furnishings, which will be provided by great names in fashion and design. This will become an integral part of the unique experience offered by this innovative restaurant-gallery concept.
