The Most Talked-About Dishes in Miami – June 2026

10 Minute read

If you're wondering what everyone's ordering around Miami right now, we've got the answer. From a Japanese café toast that's already developed a cult following to an over-the-top lobster elote, a luxe Caesar wrap, and one of the city's best new cheesesteaks, June delivered plenty of dishes worth seeking out. These are the bites Miami can't stop talking about this month.

Soft Serve at Sunshine Coffee Club

Only available at Sunshine Coffee Club's new North Beach location, this soft serve is elite, without the crazy lines found at many other spots. In keeping with the café's bright aesthetic, it comes in two flavors: a yellow French vanilla naturally colored with turmeric and a blue Greek yogurt made with spirulina, making both health-ish and aesthetically pleasing. Both strike a balance between tart and sweet, with no added sugar. Top it with banana bread crumbles, blueberry lemon crumble, cinnamon roll pieces, or sprinkles.

Miami's first Japanese café is here thanks to the team behind MICHELIN-starred SHINGO. Rather than recreate the luxurious omakase experience, the team has built a café centered on matcha, sourced directly from farmers, and house-made milk bread treats. The Corn Béchamel Toast has quickly become one of the city's most talked-about dishes. It starts with a thick slice of fluffy milk bread topped with sweet corn, cheesy miso béchamel, and Kewpie mayo. It’s creamy, dreamy, and makes the perfect breakfast, lunch, or midday snack.

Lobster Elote at The Mexican

Cheesy chunks of lobster make this elevated take on traditional Mexican street corn a hit. Made with Maine lobster, chipotle cream, Oaxaca cheese, and roasted corn finished with lime, crema, fresh Fresno chiles, and a liberal amount of Tajín, it's a must-order dish at The Mexican on Brickell Key. It’s cheesy, spicy, and so good you’ll probably need to order another one for the table.

Wagyu Cheesesteak at Cheesesteak For Sale

In a city with very few great cheesesteaks, Cheesesteak For Sale has it all figured out. These massive sandwiches are made with American Wagyu, Cooper's Sharp cheese, and onions, all served on a sourdough baguette. While Philadelphians might argue it's not traditional, it's meaty, gooey, and undeniably satisfying.

East Coast Caesar Wrap at Chèvre

First came the viral hot dog. Now Chèvre has upped the ante with a lobster chopped Caesar wrap, naturally with the option to add caviar for an extra-luxe finish. Made with lobster cooked in French butter, romaine lettuce, Ficelle Bakery garlic croutons, 24-month-aged Vache Rosso Parmigiano Reggiano, and a house-made anchovy Caesar dressing, it's all chopped into bite-sized pieces before being wrapped in a gourmet tortilla.
