The charming Swiss countryside will be the stage for the 8th annual S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino 2014, a monthlong culinary extravaganza to take place from April 6th to May 11th.
Themed Playing in our Backyard, the event will feature the innovative cuisine of local chefs who will highlight the latest trends in haute cuisine, all while guests enjoy luxurious five-star accommodations. In total, S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino 2014 will offer 11 stellar dinners (one of them a 'surprise' dinner), 2 captivating lounge nights and a special gourmet breakfast.
Participating chefs have a total of 10 Michelin stars and 240 Gault Millau points amongst themselves. They are Pierre Crépaud, Andrea Bertarini, Roland Schmid, Dario Ranza, Andrea Migliaccio, Egidio Iadonisi, Heiko Nieder, Salvatore Frequente, Sandeep Bhagwat, Frank Oerthle, Edgard Bovier, Othmar Schlegel, Gregor Zimmermann, Antonio Fallini, Laurent Eperon and Alessandro Fumagalli.
The S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino 2014 will kick off April 6th with a gala hosted by chef René Nagy at La Perla restaurant. The festivities will culminate on May 11th with a final party hosted by chef Domenico Ruberto at the Hotel Splendide Royal.
