Dill is a distincitve and aromatic herb which gives a warm and slightly bitter edge to dill recipes.

A member of the celery family it grows year round and its feathery like wiry leaves have a strong, distinctive taste similar to fennel, anise and celery.

Particularly popular in kitchens in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia it is often used alongside chives or parsley.

It lends itself perfectly to salad dressings, fish dishes and pickles and soups and even as a garnish.
