Bombana, originally from Bergamo in Northern Italy, spent nearly a decade cooking in Los Angeles before making the move to Hong Kong in 1993. 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana was the first Italian restaurant outside of Italy to gain three Michelin stars.
