The annual event, which celebrates the best of Latin American gastronomy, returns to Mexico for the first time since 2016 with a revival of its regular voted list format, after a hiatus in 2021 for a special best of 2013-21 ranking that was topped by Lima’s Central restaurant.
For the first time this year, Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants will also include a 51-100 ranking.
As ever, a number of additional awards will precede the main event, namely Best Female Chef, Icon Award and the One To Watch Award, whilst #50BestTalks will return under the theme of ‘Conscious Cooking’.
You’ll be able to watch a livestream of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022 right here on Fine Dining Lovers, in the meantime stay tuned for more updates.
