The Best Restaurant Openings in Miami – October 2026
James Beard Award-nominated chef Clay Conley has added another restaurant to his growing Coral Gables collection with Imoto, an extension of his Japanese concept in Palm Beach. Located alongside Buccan on Miracle Mile, the restaurant centers on sushi, sashimi, crudo, and wood-fired dishes made with seasonal ingredients. Specialties include miso-marinated black cod, Peking duck tacos, A5 Wagyu, and an assortment of sushi rolls.
José Andrés has brought Bazaar Meat back to Miami Beach, this time inside the Andaz Miami Beach. His take on the steakhouse pairs premium cuts of meat with seafood and vegetable dishes, along with playful riffs on familiar classics. The open kitchen keeps the cooking, and some of Andrés’s signature showmanship, in full view.
New York City’s A Pasta Bar has landed in Sunset Harbour, bringing its handmade pasta and lively open kitchen to Miami. From the 17-seat chef’s counter, guests can watch pasta being prepared daily for dishes ranging from tonnarelli cacio e pepe and black truffle tagliatelle to colorful stuffed varieties. The Miami location also introduces a wood-smoked grill, with dishes such as boneless prime rib eye with Café de Paris butter, as well as an Italian-style aperitivo hour.
The team behind Caracas Bakery has opened Teo Teo, a casual Venezuelan neighborhood rotisserie in MiMo. Located next door to the bakery on Biscayne Boulevard, the new restaurant centers its menu on rotisserie chicken, expanding the team’s presence on the block.
Miami native John Paul “JP” Granado has opened a late-night smash burger spot in Brickell. The menu includes the Choripan Burger, which combines chorizo and chimichurri in a nod to Cuban and Spanish flavors, along with loaded fries and soft serve. DJ sets and late hours carry the restaurant from dinner into after-hours.
Little River’s restaurant scene continues to grow with Anako, a modern Filipino restaurant from chefs Leicel Ros and Nancy Dominguez, the duo previously behind Sili at 1-800-Lucky. Building on the following they developed through pop-ups, Ros and Dominguez draw on French and Japanese techniques to reinterpret Filipino dishes. The seasonal menu is designed for sharing, making it tempting for a small group to order nearly everything.
Head to Fort Lauderdale for some old-school extravagance at Caviar Club, the new Las Olas steakhouse from restaurateur Marc Falsetto. Inspired by the unapologetic glamour of the 1980s, the restaurant pairs classic American steakhouse excess with an atmosphere that grows livelier as the night goes on. Picture caviar-topped lobster rolls and hash browns, steaks, ice-cold martinis, and a fabulously dressed crowd.
Another pop-up has found a permanent home with the opening of El Deli in MiMo. The casual daytime restaurant comes from Colombian-born chef Lauren Arboleda, founder of Food From the Heart and winner of the second season of MasterChef Latino in 2019, and her partner, Carlos Zuluaga. The menu rotates through sandwiches, with coffee, matcha, and other breakfast and lunch offerings. El Deli is open Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
