A tactile experience, created for the ‘KAMA. Sex & Design’ exhibition in Milan. Designer Nendo's Shivering Bowls explore touch and texture. They look solid, made from porcelain, but it's a trick.
They are actually made out of thin silicone. This material is very flexible and responsive to touch, especially when a fan is blowing in the room. A breeze passes over them creating a delicate rippling effect.
It's an experimental and visual exploration of desire and lust. You want to touch them, and there is no holding back. See for yourselves...
