The idea of using a car engine to cook is nothing new but the idea of baking Christmas cookies with one seems like a fairly unique idea from Mercedes.
Using the engine of the SLS AMG GT3 super Mercedes race car, this video shows a team of Mercedes engineers as they work hard to ready the engine before the car takes to the race track.
As the car flies around the track we here the pit discussing the importance of keeping the engine heat at 180 degrees and panicking when the car goes near the curb - why?
It's all because the team are actually using the engine to cook Christmas cookies - a great Christmas advert and a great way of using food to promote a car.
