Koast is the latest creation from Kevin Meehan and Drew Langley, the creative team behind Michelin-starred Kali Restaurant.

With Chef Michael Kerner at the lead, Koast offers an approachable, seafood-focused menu infused with advanced technique and inventive flavors.

Rich blue banquettes line the indoor dining area, while outdoor counter seating on Melrose Avenue is also available for full service. Perfect for a meal before an evening at Hollywood's surrounding venues, like the Pantages, the Palladium, the Wiltern, or the Hollywood Bowl.

Signature dishes feature exciting takes on seafood classics, such as yellowtail crudo with a rotating seasonal setup, or a jumbo crispy scallop cake paired with a house tartar sauce and mustard greens to finish.

Paired with an expertly curated wine, beer, and sake list, Koast seamlessly blends innovation with comfort, establishing itself as a must-visit destination for seafood lovers and all Los Angeles foodies to try!

I would love to keep KOAST a secret so I could always get a reservation. However, I must not be selfish. KOAST is without question a new "highlight," "must try" Los Angeles venue. While the service is exemplary, the food is among the most creative, freshest and tastiest around. I've had many of the dishes multiple times and they are consistently amazing. The balance and flavor profiles are simply not to be missed. I have now tried every dish on the menu, including a couple of the specials. Each dish is unique and will please anyone from the novice to the most sophisticated palate.

It was my first time at Koast and I can't imagine trying to again. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't specially good either. The waiter screwed up my order and the place was too loud. Three strikes-- worse so when you consider the price

The first two courses--tuna tartare and Caesar salad were excellent. My main course, pasta with sea urchin, was very mediocre. I would try the restaurant again, but I thought it was very overpriced.

Fantastic dinner. The food was outstanding, start to finish. It was a bit loud and I miss being able to have a cocktail but the beer, wine, sake selection provides plenty of options.

Food was delicious! Creative appetizers. Our waiter Christopher remembered us from my only other visit to LA in March. He was knowledgable and attentive. The preparation of the swordfish was amazing! Kudos to the hostess for moving us to a side table when one became available.

Jessica at the front reception seated us in the dining room. Thank you! The sommelier and the waiter and all the staff were great. And the food was delicious!
