The Birth of Sake is a new documentary film that steps into the process of production of sake at the Yoshida sake brewery in Iskikawa, Japan.
The cinematic documentary film focuses in on the traditions of sake making at the 144-year-old family-owned brewery that works to protect the time honoured production of sake.
The movie focuses in on the people who work at the brewery, a real mix of characters who range from 20 to 70-years-old and who all share a passion for producing top quality sake.
Below is a trailer for the movie and it shows just how beautiful this documentary is going to be. At the moment the movie is doing the rounds at film festivals with screenings May 27 and May 28th at Seattle International Film Festival.
