Zagat have a list of the 50 best restaurants in New York and Le Bernardin by chef Eric Ripert comes out on top.
The guide takes into account ratings for food, decor and service which are compiled from the results of thousands of surveys.
The top three places are actually all awarded to French restaurants with second place on the list going Bouley and third place going to Daniel. The usual suspects, Jean-Georges, Eleven Madison Park and Per Ser also made the top ten.
Ripert continues to be a crowd favourite in New York, in 2014 he topped Zagat’s list for New York and he also toped the Daily Meal’s 101 Best Restaurants in America in the same year.
