Every neighborhood deserves a cozy, comforting Italian restaurant like La Collina. Specializing in house-made pastas and a wide-ranging selection of antipasti, the 50-seat Capitol Hill restaurant, with a patio accommodating 40 additional diners, is a go-to for family gatherings, friendly reunions, date nights, and business dinners.
Overseen by RAMMY-nominated executive chef Katarina Petonito, the menu opens with shareable small plates, including golden fried arancini with spicy ‘nduja sauce, tuna carpaccio with yuzu and crispy capers, and burrata paired with seasonal produce.
Pastas range from cacio e pepe and radiatori with vodka sauce to lasagna layered with Wagyu ragù and lamb-enriched Bolognese. The menu is completed by three large-format piatti principali: steak Florentine, pork Milanese, and grilled branzino.
Desserts are overseen by pastry chef Rochelle Cooper, winner of the 2024 RAMMY Pastry Chef of the Year. The dessert menu includes straight-from-the-fryer zeppole doughnuts served with salted caramel for dipping, polenta olive oil cake, and a tiramisu-inspired semifreddo finished with chocolate sauce and sea salt.
La Collina is one of three interconnected concepts from Eastern Point Collective, which also includes The Duck & The Peach, a New American restaurant designed to feel like a high-end dinner party, and The Wells, a gin-centric bar known for its warm, inviting atmosphere.
