The Most Talked-About Dishes in Miami – April 2026

10 Minute read

In a city where new restaurants open weekly and menus shift constantly, it takes a lot for a single dish to break through. Still, a few standouts rise above the noise, showing up across feeds, dominating dinner conversations, and quickly becoming must-orders. From a $100 glizzy to a burger that sells out nightly, these are the dishes that defined Miami in April.

Pink Champagne Cake from Slim’s

This dessert has moved beyond social media appeal and into genuine demand. Layers of vanilla cake and custard are finished with blush pink champagne buttercream, creating a pastry that is both visually striking and consistently praised for its flavor. It’s a polished, crowd-pleasing finish worth saving room for.

Steakhouse Burger from Sunny’s

Available only on the terrace at Sunny’s, this burger has become one of the city’s most sought-after orders. Made with dry-aged beef and layered with sweet onion, cheese, pickles, and house sauce, it delivers on both flavor and execution. With only a limited number prepared each night, it’s the kind of dish you plan around.

Golden Glizzy from Chèvre

The $100 “Golden Glizzy” leans fully into excess, and Miami has taken notice. This Australian Wagyu hot dog is served on a Ficelle Bakery croissant bun, layered with crème fraîche and mascarpone, then finished with 30 grams of Golden Goat Classic Ossetra caviar, chives, and 24-karat edible gold. First introduced at the Miami Open, it returns for F1 weekend, with availability at Chèvre locations across the city.

Miss Piggy Sandwich from Chubby’s

Chubby’s is a sandwich pop-up inside Magie’s Little River that runs every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to closing, with a rotating menu built on soft, airy pizza dough. The standout is the Miss Piggy, layered with thinly sliced ham, brie, and sharply pickled cucumbers that cut through the richness.

Shrimp Pie from Bar Bucce

Bar Bucce, the bottle shop and pizza spot from the team behind Macchialina, keeps its menu focused, but one pie stands out. The Shrimp Pie layers tomato sauce, cream, rock shrimp, sweet onion, and stracciatella into a rich, unexpected combination. It breaks the no-seafood-with-cheese rule outright, and is better for it.
