Leading light of Russian gastronomy, Vladimir Mukhin, will be popping up in Taipei for two special dinners in Orchid restaurant on 13 and 14 April.
The executive chef from Moscow's White Rabbit, sat at no. 23 rd of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, will bring his top-class team to Taiwan’s Orchid restaurant in Taipei for two days of unique pop-up activities in collaboration with FIM media and partnership with S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.
In an exciting first, this will be Mukhin's first visit to the Taiwan capital, the Russian chef will have full run of the Taiwanese pantry and the chance to cook with the high-quality ingredients on offer in his menu created especially for the occasion.
Inside Orchid restaurant's elegant interiors he will combine Russian and Taiwan’s ingredients with his secret recipes, bringing a Russian style taste feast to Taiwanese food lovers for the two special evenings.
Considered one of Russia's leading new wave of young culinary talent, Mukhin's ideas and genius cooking technique in recreating traditional Russian cuisine making him one of the most outstanding contemporary chefs in the country: “To be a good cook, 70% relies on good ingredients, but you also need to know how to present traditional Russia taste,” says Vladimir.
