Cheese lovers will have two reasons to head to the west coast of the USA next month with both Oregon and California celebrating over a decade since they began their artisanal dairy producer festivals.

This year's 12th annual Cheese Festival is a great chance for cheese lover's to enjoy a small and intimate event held at Rogue Creamery in Southern Oregon from March 18-19.

Featuring dozens of Oregon cheese, beer, and winemakers with plenty of opportunities to pick up artisan gourmet foods in an informal setting the event takes on something of a farmers’ market vibe.

Events include a sumptuous 5 course “Meet the Cheesemakers” dinner (held the night before), seminars, and tastings including chocolate and cider.

Where better to celebrate cheese than in wine country? 

This year the California Artisan Cheese Festival celebrates its' 10th Anniversary from March 18-20, 2016 in the golden state. The annual event, held every March, attracts some 20,000 cheese revellers being located in Petaluma, just 40 minutes north of San Francisco.

Sign up early to get participate in the highlights like local creamery tours, cheese-centric dinners, and the artisanal cheese market place with over 90 local producers of artisan bread, wine and cheese.
