London will be the stage for culinary excellence as the city welcomes a total of 11 Michelin stars and renown international chefs to the 9th edition of the Taste of London. For three days, from 21-24st of June, world renown masters of cuisine will delight the palates of visitors to Regent's Park in the event sponsored by S. Pellegrino & Acqua Panna.
Last year, Taste of London was a smashing sucess and Fine Dining Lovers was able to get a Q & A with superstar chef Rene Redzepi. This time, famous chefs who will participate in the open air food festival include Wolfgang Puck, David Chang, Nuno Mendes and Bruno Lobet. The festival’s Michelin starred restaurants lineup includes Le Gavroche, Tamarind, Benares, Maze, Gauthier Soho, Rhodes 24, Club Gascon and Petrus.
Organizers expect the Taste of London to host 50,000 visitors. Participants will be able to choose among 40 of London’s top restaurants, with cuisine from all corners of the world, including Malaysia, Peru, Brazil and the Caribbean.
Aside from feasting on an array of delicacies, visitors will have the opportunity of signing up for S. Pellegrino trilogy masterclasses where they will learn how to pair water and wine with fine dishes. The master classes will be hosted by wine expert Neil Philips in collaboration with fresh, rustic and seasonal dishes prepared by Michelin star chef Theo Randal from Intercontinental Hotel.
Each master class will host 40 people per session and will be conducted four times a day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 6:00pm and 8:00pm. On Sunday, there will be two sittings: 12:30 pm and 2:30pm.
