The first dinner-event, inaugurating the ongoing dinner series INfusion 2020, will take place on Wednesday 26 February at the El Coq restaurant in Vicenza, Italy when Portuguese chef Henrique Sa Pessoa will cook with chef owner Lorenzo Cogo.
Henrique Sa Pessoa, chef of the 2 Michelin-starred restaurant ALMA in Lisbon, is one of the new generation of Portuguese chefs, embracing tradition as well as global influences in his cuisine. In 2019, the chef was also among the judges of the regional final Iberian & Mediterranean Countries of S.Pellegrino Young Chef competition and this edition he stops up as mentor to finalist Albert Manso.
Together with chef Cogo, Henrique Sa Pessoa will visit the Vicenza area furing his visit, discovering local ingredients and techniques, with a stop at the La Vigna International Library, an important point of reference for international oenological research.
During the evening the two chefs will work together to create something totally new, developed from their learnings gathered from their time spent together during the day.
