As the sun sets over the Swiss mountains and lakes, the grand chefs gathered at S. Pellegrino Sapori Ticino 2012 partake in a series of culinary extravaganzas. Beginning with nine dinners, three lunches and lounge events, the famous chefs will also enjoy two very special fish dinners at the best hotels and restaurants in Lugano, Ascona and Mendrisio.
The coming together of more than 20 of world's best chefs began the 15th of April and will continue until the 20th of May. Fine Dining Lovers has gone behind the scenes to report every juicy detail from the very first dinner of S. Pellegrino Sapori Ticino 2012. Now we invite you to two special fish dinners that will take place on the breathtaking lakes of Switzerland.
The first exclusive fish dinner will be hosted by chef Antonio Ferraro at Locanda del Boschetto on the 28th of April. Located in Lugano (in the picture), Locanda del Boschetto is a rustic restaurant known for appetizing fish dishes prepared on its wood-fire grill. The second special fish dinner will be held the 19th of May in Ristorante Balena, located on the lovely waterfront of Locarno.
The final event of S. Pellegrino Sapori Ticino 2012 will be a grand dinner on the 20th of May. The closing ceremony will be held at the Grand Hotel Eden in Lugano. The food will be prepared by some of the Europe's best chefs interested in showcasing their talents by cooking with high-quality local ingredients.
