Sirha returns to Lyon, France in January for the cutting edge biannual international trade fair focusing on the hotel and catering industry that's set to attract a huge 180,000 visitors, 20,000 chefs and 3,000 exhibitors.
Eurexpo in Lyon will form the cutting edge gastronomic hub of the world for the five days, attracting engagment from 135 countries, from 21 to 25 January 2017, with all eyes on this year's wider events that include the world class chef competition of the Bocuse d'Or Grand Finale and the Coupe du Monde de Pâtisserie.
SIRHA: THE WORLD GASTRONOMY RENDEZ-VOUS
Sirha is an ideal opportunity for industry professionals to find new partners and explore new markets with eleven sectors being represented; from fast food to gourmet food and school food to hospitality.
Experts present at the show will be tasked with responding to the bigger issues like "food service for a better life" and keeping those in the profession up to date on the latest innovations.
The Finale of Bocuse d'OR and Coupe du Monde de Pâtisserie
Sirha will also be at the epicentre of one of the biggest events of world gastronomy, starting with the final of the Bocuse d'Or on 24 and 25 January. Find out more here.
And if that weren't enough, from January 22nd and 23rd, the show will also host another major event: the Coupe du Monde de Pâtisserie or "World Cup of Pastry", where 23 teams from all over the world will compete head to head to be recognised as the best in the business.
Alongside these two pillars of world gastronomy, the Sirha will also be the place to discover the French champion of the gourmet arts, to follow the International Competition of Young Bakers, the National Cheese Makers Competition and the French Bakers Cup as well as many other international events.
