This concept for a restaurant design in Paris comes from the architect and ex graffiti artist Stephane Malka shows the possibilities in architecture when combining traditional building materials with nature.
Using timber blocks on the facade of the building Malka has created a building with an almost living feel.Design Boom say that the project "synthesizes the mythical dimensions of nature with the ceaseless growth of the urban environment".
The idea is that the building will change over time as new plants and organic material grow between and around the timber.
Rather than just being faux-meat, Mamu is different. It's a mushroom-based meat alternative that's getting its launch in restaurants so that chefs can test its versatility. Flora Tsapovsky investigates.
