Is your home state known for a signature cocktail? Find out with this fun map from the folks at Buzzfeed. Their boozy map of America covers 51 signature drinks representing each U.S. state and the District of Columbia.
Some of the cocktails are a given -like Kentucky's mint julep - but others may leave you scratching your head. For instance, you may wonder why Florida's signature cocktail isn't a mojito or why Pennsylvania's assigned cocktail is The Bronx.
Buzzfeed's Hannah Gregg writes the cocktails were chosen through "a combination of state of origin, popularity, and exclusivity." The end result is a 'spirited' map that is plenty of fun to look at.
You can check out the whole map over at Buzzfeed. Take a look and let us know if you agree with your home state's signature cocktail. Cheers!
