Zagat are continuing their campaign to teach us all how to pronounce food words correctly, this time focusing on German and French cuisine and some of the commonly mispronounced ingredients and dishes in each category.
They’ve already talked the tricky world of Mediterranean food words and in the videos below set about tough words relating to German and French cuisine.
Côtes du Rhône, beef bourguignon and mille-feuille all feature in the list of French words, while sachertorte, schlag and Spaetzle are all included in the list of German words.
