The Regional Finals for the UK and North Europe in the 4th edition of S.Pellegrino Young Chef will take place in London on 12 November 2019.
The region, including of the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Denmark, will see the most talented young chefs handpicked from each country preparing their Signature Dishes in front of a local jury panel who will select the winner to go forward to the Grand Finale in Milan, 2020.
Jess Murphy, Bjorn Svensson, Brian Mark Hansen, Estee Strooker, Frida Ronge, Adam Byatt and Monica Galetti will form the panel of professional chefs tasked with picking the most outstanding young chef on the day who has demonstrated unrivalled technical skills, genuine creativity and an exceptional, strong personal belief about Gastronomy.
At this regional level there are also three other awards up for grabs:
S.Pellegrino Award for Social Responsibility
Voted by an internationally recognized voice on sustainability in food, for the dish that will represent the principle of socially responsible practices.
Acqua Panna Award
Voted for by mentors representing 50 countries around the world, for the dish that will be the one that reflects the perfect connection between different cultures on the plate.
