The Danish Chef, Rene Redzepi, has recently announced the line up for the second offering of his new food festival The MAD Food Camp. Massimo Bottura, Ferran Adrià , Fergus Henderson and of course Rene himself will be presenting talks and techniques at the event. There will also be a number of environmental speakers, academics and many more chefs with a theme this year that centres on the word 'appetite'.
Rene, who has twice been voted number one on The World's 50 Best Restaurants List, also became one of the first chefs ever chefs to feature on the cover of Time Magazine with his Danish cooking styles and local approach to sourcing ingredients now on a world stage, the festival is another great opportunity to spread his philosophy.
The event takes place on 1st and 2nd July 2012 and tickets are available through the email, aka@noma.dk. We'll also know by then if Rene and Noma have picked up first place on the 50 Best List for a third year consecutively as the award is announced on the 30 April - you can also find out by watching FDL's 50 Best live stream direct from Guildhall, London.
