Chef Marco Pierre White, famous for his sharp tongue and brutal honesty, is launching a new tv show called Kitchen Wars.
In the show the celebrity chef travels the UK With a mobile kitchen unit or 'the battle kitchen' with teams of couples who run restaurant invited to board the mobile kitchen and demonstrate their skills in the kitchen.
Families, friends, husband and wife duos - the teams vary but the restaurants just be run by a group rather than individuals as Marco says this reflects the way restaurants used to be run.
The chef explained “When I started out many years ago, a lot of the best restaurants were run by couples" and with that in mind Kitchen Wars aims to put couple and family run eateries back on the map.
Those who impress the fierce chef will be invited to cook in his specially designed kitchen with a chance to serve their food to the public.
