This spectacular Star Wars cake was part of a wedding held in Hawaii. Karie, the bride, wanted to surprise her deployed groom with a wedding of a lifetime. So she planned a secret Star Wars-themed wedding complete with a cake, wine and cocktails inspired by the classic film. Even R2-D2 and C-3PO had a cameo.
Here are more details from badass international wedding photographer Jenna Heard at Creatix Photography:
“Karie and Marc decided to get married at Kualoa Ranch in Hawaii. Marc is military and deployed in December, so during the six months he was gone, she planned a secret Star Wars themed wedding. Marc thought the whole time it was going to be a beach themed wedding. So during the day, things slowly unfolded for him, until the big reveal before the ceremony. He said. “I picked good” right when he realized what she had done. Their wedding was so much fun, despite all of the rain and everything.”
