We, quite rightly, get very excited by a good knife at FDL HQ. We know the importance of such a tool and we know the amount of skill and craft that goes into making a good knife.
The video below, filmed as part of Anthony Bourdain’sRaw Craft series, follows Bob Kramer who, according to Bourdain, “makes the finest knives in the world”.
The video explains that Kramer is just one of 122 blade-masters in the U.S and out of that group, he is the only one who specialises in kitchen knives - basically this guys knives are special.
Instead of standard steel to produce his blades, Kramer forges his knives from melted meteorite and the finished products are beautiful.
