Open since May 2019, two Michelin starred chef Marco Sacco from Piccolo Lago is at the helm of the 50 cover restaurant interpreting rich Piedmont cuisine and championing the wealth of the internationally renowned local produce.
Piedmont lies at the north of Italy on the borders of France and Switzerland, complete with undulating vineyards and hazelnut groves. Its unique climate provides the perfect growing conditions for both world-class red wines like Barolo, Barbaresco and Nebbiolo and the highly sought after white truffles. All of which can now be experienced with sensitivity in the crisp and comfortable interiors of Castellana, transporting gastronomes to the very heart of the region.
Guests are invited to choose between set menus and a la carte options, all reflecting traditional Piedmont dishes with regional specialties like Vitello tonnato, Fassona beef and white truffles, Risotto with snails and Chanterelle mushrooms, Lamb loin with mushroom crust and potato mille feuille, Risotto with black garlic and river prawns, and handmade Tagliolini Au Koque carbonara sauce and Vigezzo Valley cured ham.Â
