Asia 50 Best Restaurants

Chef Gaggan Anand's Gaggan restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand, is at the top of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list for 2015. Chef Yoshihiro Narisawa took second position for his Les Creations de Narasawa restaurant in Tokyo, Japan and third place was awarded to Paul Pairet’s multi-sensory dining experience Ultraviolet in Shanghai.

The list has been announced at Capella Singapore: every year the event, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, awards best restaurants and chefs across Asia.

As last year, the Lifetime Achievement and Best Female Chef Awards have been assigned in advance. Chef Tetsuya Wakuda was named 2015 Diners Club Lifetime Achievement Award Winner. He's the chef at the Waku Ghin restaurant in Singapore and the Tetsuya restaurant in Sydney. Vicky Lau has been picked as Asia's Best Female Chef.
