The Chef

Born in San Juan and raised in the mountain towns of Barranquitas and Comerío, Chef Sebastián Rosado Rivera discovered his passion for cooking at an early age while helping his grandmother dry coffee beans and prepare traditional blood sausages. 

He studied at the Escuela Hotelera de San Juan while working at Oof Inc. and the Puerto Rico Convention Center before earning a bachelor's degree in Culinary Management from the Culinary Institute of America. He then began his career in some of New York's most acclaimed kitchens, including Nobu and Le Bernardin, where he spent six years as a sous chef under Eric Ripert, refining the technical precision and consistency that continue to define his cooking today.
