Chef Michael White is one of America's most acclaimed Italian chefs, earning a James Beard Award, five simultaneous MICHELIN stars, and multiple three- and four-star reviews from The New York Times.
A graduate of Kendall Culinary Institute, White trained under Paul Bartolotta at Spiaggia in Chicago before spending seven years in Italy refining his craft with Chef Valentino Marcattilii at Ristorante San Domenico. He returned to the United States in 2001, leading celebrated restaurants including Fiamma Osteria, Marea, and Ai Fiori while helping establish the Altamarea Group as one of the country's premier hospitality companies.
Today, White is the founder of BBianco Hospitality and the chef behind Levant by Chef Michael White, where his signature style blends Italian technique with the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean.
